We’re calling on the Government to ensure that every community has the support to strengthen their local area.

Across the country, local groups are doing brilliant work to bring people together, tackle division, and build stronger communities where they live.

The Government’s Pride in Place 10-year programme is a great step in making sure these groups have the right ingredients to succeed. But we want this support to be bigger and bolder.

We are asking for a permanent pot of money that is controlled by communities, for communities. A one-off investment from the Government that reinvests returns could kickstart an ongoing source of funding, and would put communities in control.
