Our Approach to Dairy
Here at Ben & Jerry’s, we care about our ice cream from cow to cone. And that means looking after the wellbeing of our dairy farmers, farmworkers, cows, and the environment. That’s why we work directly with farms participating in the Caring Dairy program primarily in our home state of Vermont, as well as the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, in adopting a series of continuously improving practices.
We pay a premium to all farms participating in the Caring Dairy program globally and in Europe we pay an additional premium to support Free Grazing.
