Super Spring!

29 March, 2016

Spring is upon us and we couldn't be more excited! It's finally time to toss aside your winter coat, walk out the door with an, ahem, spring in your step and inhale the sweet smells of dewy grass and flowers in bloom. We love Spring and everything that comes with it. Why? Well, why not! Here are a few things you can embrace at this terrific time of the year...

The Great Outdoors

After the hustle and bustle of the festive period, people rush indoors to get out of the cold and the world seems a little less populated…but, now spring is here, we’re beginning to venture out! Children are playing outside, couples are taking walks together (without a minimum of 20 layers of clothing!), and picnic blankets are making a comeback - winter hibernation is truly over!

Baby Animals

Let’s face it, baby pigs are cute… and seeing a line of baby ducks paddling is sheer delight!

Cones!

Gone are the days of cosying up under a blanket with your favourite tub of Ben & Jerry's... the sun is out and it's time to embrace the cone! However you like yours (waffle, sugar, chocolate-dipped), the cone is back and it's about to make its spring debut - so get licking ice cream lovers!

Colours

Pull back the curtains in the winter months and you’re greeted with a depressingly dull view. Come spring, that all changes… in a matter of weeks, skies go from grey to blue, leaves from brown to green, and pastel-coloured flowers begin to pop up around you.

Spring Cleaning

You can do away with the scarf, and a few other things you’ve held onto but aren’t really sure why. Spring is the season of new beginnings and it sure feels good to rid your house of all the clutter you’ve collected over the winter months. So grab a duster, throw open the windows and reap the rewards of a good old spring clean.

Rain

There’s nothing quite like falling asleep to the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops… and, if you happen to be outside, you can soak up the view of a spectacular rainbow or release your inner child and splash about in every puddle in sight.
